I wore this Yolan Cris sample dress for my October 2018 wedding (purchased online via POWD from The White Gallery in Ireland). The dress is in nearly new condition, and I hope it will make another bride feel as beautiful as I did.
There are two parts to the dress: The lace overlay and the slip skirt. The lace overlay is extremely intricate with subtle beading on the sides and crystal buttons lining the back for enclosure (there is not a zipper on the lace overlay).
The ivory slip worn underneath came up to about my waist. You will have some skin peeking through in the front and back. The slip skirt is an EU size 42, which I had tailored to a US size 6. I also had the dress taken in slightly at the waist, and just around my thighs and under my butt for a more fitted silhouette. I had sticky cups sewn in, but these were removed during dry cleaning. The dress has a stunning double train with horsehair trim. I also had a French bustle added in.
I'm 5'10" and wore 2.5" heels on my wedding day (the dress was not hemmed).
The lace overlay and slip skirt have both been professionally dry cleaned.
