Hello beautiful brides! Here’s my crazy story: I currently live abroad but got married at home in Texas recently. It didn’t make sense to have the dresses I ordered shipped to me in Europe to then have to travel with them across the planet to get home to get married. So I just had them sent directly to Texas. This meant I only saw them in-person a couple of weeks before the wedding itself, once I had gotten home to walk down the aisle! I wasn’t sure about so many details of the Big Event and knew the time was going to be short, so I ordered a few in very different styles and vibes so I would have a selection of varied options I loved on-hand and ready to go. The choice was not easy, but I had my special fairy tale day and will keep the one I wore forever, as a keepsake. So now I am ready to send the others I did not use on to other happy altar homes...
Please have a look at my other listings to see all 4 up for grabs!
This is a one-of-a-kind stunner from the legendary label Priscilla of Boston. This historic name in gowns is a thing of the past and you will be hard-pressed to find anything of theirs still in circulation given their value and that they are no longer in production, much less this very rare and unique model. Here's a bit about their legacy, including dressing Grace Kelly's bridesmaids for her royal wedding day:
This is a fit and flare accented by gorgeous pleating in the full skirt and these flirty and sweet bows and bling on the front. It is the highest quality, shiny white satin, which made it hard to get a good photo with a cellphone. Just know it is that kind of luxurious satin that takes your breath away. This was a boutique floor sample, never worn or altered. Like any floor sample it needs a cleaning and pressing, and the top bow needs to be stitched back down on one side.
The back is beautifully ornamented with teeny, classic buttons but which actually has a convenient zipper close beneath them.
This is around a street size 8/10, but I was assured it could be altered beautifully up or down. **PLEASE NOTE: I am either holding the excess material on me with one hand or clipping it in these photos (that is also why it is a little wrinkled and bunched on me here!), but the gown is quite a bit larger than what you see here**.
I was sorry not to go with this head turner, but it was a little too chilly for my outdoor November wedding.
This is a very special gown--luxurious, distinguished and sexy, but still flirty and youthful!
